Gowrie Kunkua community library … young patrons reading a book titled “Peter’s Wish” published by Kathy Knowles indicating how Peter do his chores everyday. After school, he fetches water from the river. And also helps his parents with the laundry and watering the seedlings at tree nursery. Every night Peter bring animals into a shelter to keep them safe from hungry hyenas. I used this opportunity to educate them on how they need to help their parents after school activities infact the book is a very educative instrument to equip our children for their future.
