COLAU partnered with the Goethe-Zentrum Library to carry out a 4 days capacity building exercise for 11 librarians representing 6 community libraries. For each of the 4 days, topics discussed were; Collection Development, Book Processing, Automation of library services and social media marketing, respectively. We were able to successfully carry out a capacity building exercise in Kampala for 6 community libraries represented by 11 participants.
