Group reading took place in Gowrie kunkua community library with a common story book which is entitled Ananse and his red piggy bank written by Kwesi Enos. In the story Ananse grew up in a poor family but he doesn’t know how to make it in life, one day he was made his way to the forest looking for food and he met the Queen bee who was on her way to sell a basket full of honey, in conversation Ananse asked the bee to teach him how never to be short of food and the bee agreed to teach him her four secret lessons of how never to be short of food, the first lesson was hard work, the second was to be smart, the third lesson was saving and the last one was investing. Ananse agreed to follow all the lesson learned from the bee and became the richest man in their village, which indicated that in life working hard, working smart, saving and investing is a key to success.
