Thanks to former Peace Corps volunteer Jen Lazuta (and family) who started the library some years ago. Jen was able to visit the library a few weeks ago and found it going strong, with dedicated librarian Moumouni Zebret still decorating the walls. Zebret complained there had not been any recent books purchases for the library, and Jen passed on the word to FAVL, and we were able to buy a good selection of 47 African novels and novels read in secondary school.
